It tastes like home ….

I lived with my grandparents when I was young. One meal that makes me smile and remember my grandmother is this sandwich. It’s a different combination for most but it is delicious and my hubby loves it too. He was the one asking for it this time around.

Tomato and Egg sandwich

Makes 2 small open-face sandwiches

  • 2 hard-boiled eggs
  • 2 slices bread
  • butter
  • tomato
  • salt and pepper

Toast bread and spread on thin layer of butter.

Slice egg and place on top, one egg per slice of bread

Slice tomato and place over egg.

Season with salt and pepper.
