Simplest Ever Beef Stroganoff

July 10, 2011

I saw this recipe on a Crock Pot blog ( Can’t remember which one) and it sounded so simple. I just had to try it. It took about 5 minutes to set up.

It came out fantastic and is now something that I will make regularly.

Simplest Ever Beef Stroganoff

  • Beef ( I used  1.5 lbs  or  @ 3 lbs for full serving)
  • PHILADELPHIA Cooking Creme – Savory Garlic Flavor

Directions:

1. Partially freeze or thaw your beef ( makes it easier to cut). Cut into slices and place in Crock Pot.

2. If using 1.5 lbs of beef  use half  the container of cooking cream. If using 3 lbs of beef use the full container or cream. Place cream on top of meat ( I did not stir it in).

3. Cook on low setting for around 8 hours.  After cooking completes stir everything in.

It is now ready to spoon on top of anything you want. Pasta, potatoes, rice or even on bread. It is delicious and couldn’t be easier.

You can also add mushrooms and/or onions to give it more volume and some healthy veggies but it is fantastic as is.
